What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device that lets a site recognize your browser between requests or visits. We use the term to also cover similar technologies — such as the token Cloudflare Turnstile uses to confirm you're not a bot — that store or read information on your device in the same way.

Cookies we use

Every cookie set on this site, who sets it, and whether it needs your consent first.

Cloudflare Web Analytics, which we also use to measure aggregate traffic, is cookie-free by design and isn't listed above — it doesn't store or read anything on your device.

Cookie categories

Necessary

Exempt from consent — Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive

Required to deliver the site and keep it secure — routing traffic, blocking bots and spam, and holding your booking details together as you fill in the form. The site can't function without these, so no banner choice is offered for them.

Statistics

Requires opt-in consent — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR

Help us understand how the site is used, in aggregate. Google Analytics is not loaded until you actively accept it in the cookie banner; declining has no effect on any feature of the site.

Services we use that don't set cookies here

Resend delivers our transactional emails server-to-server — it never runs in your browser, so it sets no cookies on this site.

Google Meet only enters the picture once you click the video-call link in your booking confirmation email, which opens on meet.google.com — a domain we don't control. No cookie is set on dquadrant.com by Meet; Google's own policies govern that separate visit.

Managing your preferences

On your first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept or decline Statistics cookies — Necessary cookies aren't offered as a choice, since the site can't run without them. Google Analytics only loads after you accept. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser and reloading the page.

Browser & opt-out controls

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their privacy settings. Google also publishes a dedicated Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on ↗ that stops Analytics from collecting data on any site you visit, this one included.

Your rights

Cookie data that identifies you is Personal Data under the GDPR — the access, erasure, and other rights described in our Privacy Policy apply here too. Requests go to [email protected].

Changes to this notice

If the cookies we use change — a new processor, a new purpose — we'll update this page and, where the change is material, ask for your consent again.
