As Dquadrant we are honored being awarded to execute the testing & quality assurance for the Chang Hard Fork of Cardano.
This is a recognition for the quality of the work executed by our team but also a huge responsibility.
Previous projects successfully executed by our team for IOG and Intersect:
- Vasil HF testing and quality assurance
- SECP256K1 (Cryptographic primitives for interoperability) testing and quality assurance
- GovTool testing and quality assurance
We extend our gratitude to Intersect and IOE for their continued trust, inspired by our track record and the detailed execution plan presented.
Our mission is to verify that all required functionalities are in place and performing as expected, including those from earlier versions of Plutus.
Following topics will be covered in this extensive process of testing to assure the quality of the work by other engineers:
- Plutus V3 cost plan testing (new primitives introduced for Chang)
- Plutus V3 regression testing (back to V1, covering CIPs and signatures, reference script uplifting)
- Benchmarking V2 vs V3 (transaction size, memory requirements and performance)
- Hardware and software wallet testing (governance actions, ensuring no disruption to existing wallet functionalities)
- Cardano Ledger API testing
- Load testing for governance actions (committee, DRep, voting, and delegation)
- DReps, votes, and delegation testing (including negative scenarios)
- DApp testing (simulating concurrent users)
- Mass testing “delegate-to-abstain”
- Guardrails testing
- And much more …
Chang will bring Governance, Plutus V3 performance improvements and ZK technology to Cardano.
